If you have already visited our practice, then you will have seen Qiqian in almost every room around the clinic. Whether it’s taking your initial 3D scan to create your bespoke brace, assisting Yaz and Katie in the surgery or taking your final photos and impressions to have your night retainers fitted, Qiqian has large role in your journey to a beautiful new smile. She began working part time for Premier Orthodontics as a dental nurse in 2015 and progressed to a full-time position in 2016.
After falling in love with orthodontics, she decided to set herself another goal and qualify as an Orthodontic Nurse. Qiqian set out to start the course in April 2017 as she wanted to gain further depth of knowledge and understanding within the skills of orthodontics. But most importantly, she wanted to be able to fully assist Yaz and Katie in giving our patients the best journey and result possible!
During her course, Qiqian had lots of support from Premier but specifically from Yaz, Katie and Amelia, who helped her throughout the year to improve her clinical knowledge and skills.We are pleased to announce that following her final exam early 2018 (and after lots of revision groups during lunch breaks!) Qiqian has now passed her course and can put her skills into practice as a specialist Orthodontic Nurse!
